About Michael Carr

Michael Carr is a seasoned editor with a career spanning over 2 decades in film, television, sports, and entertainment marketing. He has brought his creative and technical expertise to some of the industry’s most recognizable productions, working with leading studios, networks, and agencies to craft compelling visual stories.

Michael’s career began at Modern Videofilm in 2005 and quickly expanded to major opportunities, including Tyler Perry Studios (2009–2011) and FOX Sports (2008–2012), where he edited content for the Super Bowl, World Series, and Daytona 500, as well as House of Payne, Meet the Browns, and For Better or Worse.

His work in entertainment advertising included stints at Trailer Park, Toy Box, LA Made Creative, and Red57 (2011–2018), where he contributed to high-profile campaigns such as The Revenant, Daredevil: Season 2, Trolls, Cold Pursuit, Hunter Killer, and the 88th Annual Academy Awards.

In 2019, Michael launched Carrma, a post-production finishing company specializing in premium editing, color, and audio services for film and television marketing. Through Carrma, he continues to deliver Hollywood-level quality with a reputation for reliability, creativity, and competitive turnaround times.

Michael’s work has been recognized with multiple honors, including a Golden Trailer Award nomination for the Cold Pursuit TV spot, Best Music Video at the Peachtree International Film Festival, and being named a member of the Television Academy, an SCV 40 Under Forty Honoree (2023) as well as Marquis Who’s Who Inductee (2023) for his contributions to the industry.
